Robert Vaughn veteran actor known for his roles in over 100 movies and TV shows as The Man from U.N.C.L.E, The Magnificent Seven, Superman III, and many more will appear in person at the Big Apple Convention this Saturday and Sunday June 24-25. He will sign autographs and pose for photos with his loyal fans. The Big Apple Convention is New York City’s longest-running comic book/sci-fi/fantasy/pop-culture convention. It is located at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, 33rd St & 7th Ave in Manhattan, NYC, across from Madison Square Garden. General admission is $10. On Sunday, June 25, in celebration of the new movie Superman Returns, all kids 12 and under will get in free, and get a free toy! All attendees will also get a free Superman comic book! In addition, noted Superman artist and writer Jerry Ordway will be present for a Q&A panel, to sign autographs, and meet Super fans.. Also, ten pairs of tickets to Superman Returns at IMAX 3D will be given away throughout the day. The Big Apple Convention will also be host to scores of other comic book notables, including: Golden age legends Joe Simon (who, with Jack Kirby, created Captain America), and Irwin Hasen (Dondi, Green Lantern), comic book scholar Dr. William Foster III, and classic and cutting edge artists Joseph Michael Linser (Cry for Dawn, Frank Brunner (Creepy, Howard the Duck, Dr. Other guests of the convention will include Steven Seagal (Above the Law, Under Siege), who will be performing with his band Saturday evening, ‘Rowdy’ Numerous panels, screenings, events and giveaways will be happening throughout the weekend, including the always amazing Costume Contest hosted by Captain Zorikh and Jolie Voltaire (as featured on Comedy Central) on Saturday, with many special prizes. There will be over 100 dealers of comics, toys, art, and other collectibles.
